Pets of the week for Sept. 30, 2012

Jupiter and Neptune

Jupiter and Neptune are pretty parakeets that came in together. These nice birds are friendly but not hand trained. Jupiter and Neptune love their bird toys and to fly around their cage exercising their wings. Parakeets are great birds that aren’t very loud in their vocalizations. Jupiter and Neptune are only 7 months old so with a patient family they could still learn lots of tricks and be hand trained.

Karl

Karl is a handsome gentleman with a soft shiny coat. This pleasant boy likes warm laps to curl up in and blankets to burrow into. Karl is a really sweet boy whom enjoys the occasional conversation. This friendly fellow is looking for a loving family he can shower with affection.

Omar

Omar is a super friendly fellow with a long, luxurious, bouncy coat that will need regular brushing. This handsome boy is de-clawed so we recommend a home that will keep him safe inside. Omar adores foot rubs and snuggling with human companions. Omar is a laid-back boy who gets along well with other animals and people of all ages.

Melanitta

Melanitta is a young, friendly lab mix who walks well on a leash. Melanitta knows her basic commands but will need a family that will be firm with reinforcing them as she tends to have a mind of her own. Melanitta is highly treat motivated and loves to play keep away. This affectionate lady would like a home that will give her plenty of exercise and socialization with people and other pets.
