An auspicious birth date for a baby girl

Girl scouts from local Juneau troops presented a gift basket of special baby items to Bartlett Beginnings to be given to the first baby girl born on or after Oct. 31. Scouts Emma Eason, Emma Murphy, Brenna Hinman, Elena Lohrey and Ellie Knapp presented Karen White, OB Nurse Manager of Bartlett Beginnings with the basket full of books, baby care items and an infant shirt that reads "Future Girl Scout" to commemorate the birthday of Girl Scouts founder Juliette Gordon Low, bown that day in 1860.
