Gowdy, Smith wed

Angela Gowdy and Dakotah Smith wed Oct. 27, 2012, in Keawakapu Beach on the island of Maui, Hawaii. The ceremony was officiated by the bride’s cousin, April Karper. Lanie Lumbab was the maid of honor and Matt Lehrbach served as best man.

The bride is the daughter of Dan Gowdy, of Juneau, and Cheryl Bundy. She attended Juneau Douglas High School and the University of Alaska Southeast, and currently works for the State of Alaska.

The groom is the son of Wendy and Rob Christiansen, of Carlsbad, New Mexico, and James and Kristy Smith, of Colorado Springs, Colo. He attended JDHS and Tacoma Community College and now works for the United States Army.
