Free December computer classes at TLC

The Learning Connection offers free computer classes each month, with classes and schedules to meet most needs.

 

Introduction to Microsoft Access 2010

Meets Monday and Wednesday evenings, Dec. 3–19, from 5-7 p.m.

This course is introductory for Access but it is recommended that students are familiar with other Microsoft Office programs; also for the pace of the course it is recommended to commit to coming to all or most classes — call or see instructor regarding late admissions.

Introduction to PowerPoint 2010

Meets Tuesday and Thursday evenings, Dec. 4–20, from 5-7 p.m.

Job Search, Resume Creation, Using ALEXsys, Keyboarding and Open Lab Computer Training

Individual and small group instruction is available for computer and online job search, available Mondays andTuesdays 9-11 a.m.

This will be in an open lab type format with an instructor available!

The ALEXsys Job Search Workshop is co-facilitated with Juneau Job Center staff and held at The Learning Connection Thursdays Dec. 6 and Dec. 20 from 10 a.m.-noon.

The Learning Connection will be closed for the holidays beginning at noon Friday, Dec. 21 and reopening on Monday, Jan. 7.

Come in during the above times to receive assistance and create a plan.
