Helping Hands would like to thank the organizations and businesses whose contributions allowed us to help clients we serve through the holidays.
I would like to thank Safeway for the food drive they are doing. You may purchase $10 bags of groceries and drop it in our box in the front lobby through Jan. 1. We will also have a Christmas food drive at Safeway Dec. 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and purchases of turkeys or hams would be appreciated.
I would like to thank the Women of the Moose for the check used to purchase extra turkeys for Thanksgiving. I would also like to thank Channel Construction for the turkeys and potatoes they donated.
We also have a toy drive going on at Balloons by Night Moods — you bring an unwrapped new toy worth $20 and you receive a certificate for a bouquet of balloons.
