Pets of the week for Dec. 9, 2012

Although missing many feathers, this very sweet and loving Moluccan Cockatoo loves to snuggle and give kisses. He adores hanging out with humans and is content to sit on your shoulder for hours. Flurry will need someone willing to continue the work GHS has begun with an avian specialist on his over-grooming issues. Cockatoos live a very long time and are extremely social animals. Do you have the heart and the time to give Flurry the attention and support he needs to be a full-feathered companion for life?

Templeton is a beautiful white rat that absolutely loves hanging out with his peeps. He’s smart and enjoys playing games and snacking on peanut butter. Do you have an extra spot on your shoulder for Templeton?

A shy, very loving cat, Martin is searching for his forever home. He’s sweet, cuddly and enjoys lazing about with his humans. He is looking for a human who has an empty place by their side, waiting to be filled lovingly by a cat like Martin.

Quiet, playful and fun, Duncan is a cat who enjoys being brushed and playing with mouse toys. He likes to hang out in a bed, a box, or in your arms. Are you looking for a companion to give all your love to? Duncan is looking for you too.

A big thank you to Bartlett Hospital’s cardiac rehabilitation department
