21st annual Polar Bear Dip

The 21st Annual Polar Bear Dip will take place at 1 p.m. Jan. 1 at the Auke Village Recreation Area main shelter. Dippers will line up on the shore and take the plunge at precisely 1 p.m. Participants are encouraged to wear sandals or shoes to protect their fee and bring a towel and clothing to keep them warm afterwards.
