Pets of the week for Jan. 6, 2013

Avery is a very bright and loving 2-year-old miniature pinscher mix who enjoys games that engage her mind and body. She loves playing with squeaky toys, snuggling in warm, fuzzy blankets, and will probably do best in a home where she is the only dog. Avery has a ‘cherry eye,’ a condition which can be corrected, but will need to be attended to by her new family’s veterinarian. Do you have time and extra love to dote on a dog like Avery?

Dot is a very happy, loving 8-year-old who simply loves all kinds of people. Although she looks like she is sticking her tongue out at you, she just doesn’t have any teeth to hold her little tongue in. Having no teeth hasn’t stopped this girl from gaining a few extra pounds, so although Dot is on a wet food diet, she will still need a little bit of exercise to lose that extra weight. Dot loves nothing better than following her favorite human around the house, snuggling and getting belly scratches. Do you have the heart to give this sweet girl a little bit of exercise and the attention she deserves?

This man is quite the catch! A well mannered, beautiful white cat, Sampson loves everybody and everything. Very sweet and loving, Sampson enjoys being rubbed, groomed and snuggling with his human companions. If you’ve been searching for a man like Sampson, the wait is over and he’s waiting for you to come get him.

This little bunny is in search of a family to help bring out his fun-loving personality. A little on the shy side at first, Jack is cautious when meeting new people. He loves to hop around from person to person and once he warms up to you, he will let you hold and snuggle him. Are you a kind and patient person looking for a rabbit to give all your love to? Jack has been waiting for you.
