Singing valentines delivered by Girl Scout Brownies

This Feb. 14, there is a new, adorable option for sending love.

Girl Scout Troop 4036 will deliver a singing telegram of two songs, a valentine, flower and a small treat to the person of your choice at his or her workplace for $40.

The girls are raising funds to go to Whitehorse this summer. All valentine proceeds will go toward that trip, along with teaching the girls how to set and meet a big goal.

The troop is comprised of second-, third-, and fourth-graders who attend Harborview and Gastineau Elementary Schools, the Juneau Community Charter Schools and some home school children.

To set up a singing valentine, email singingbrownies@gmail.com to find out about availability and provide the recipient name and work place address, a time frame for delivery, the relationship to recipient (mom, sweetie, husband) so the girls can sing the appropriate songs and arrange for payment.

Find out more, by emailing singingbrownies@gmail.com and sign up soon because the girls can only deliver 10 valentines.
