GCI Alaska Academic Decathlon

About 160 high school students from around the state are participating in the three-day event, taking tests in math, economics, science, language and literature, art, music and social science. They also submit an essay and demonstrate speech and interview skills before panels of volunteer judges. To include students from a variety of academic abilities, teams are comprised of A, B and C students competing within their own divisions.
