Free April computer classes at TLC

The Learning Connection offers free computer classes.

 

Intermediate Microsoft Excel (level 2) runs Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5-7 p.m., April 1-29. This course is designed for those in need of a course covering intermediate level Excel spreadsheet concepts. New topics are covered each evening, so it is recommended to commit to coming to all or most classes.

Introduction to computers, Internet and email is offered Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5-7 p.m., April 2-30. This course is for students in need of a course covering computer basics. New topics covered each evening, so it is recommended to commit to coming to all or most classes.

Job search, resume creation, using ALEXsys, keyboarding and open lab computer training is also available at TLC.

Individual and small group instruction is available for computer and online job search guidance Mondays and Tuesdays 9-11 a.m. – this will be in an open lab type format. An ALEXsys Job Search Workshop co-facilitated with the Juneau Job Center staff will be held at TLC Thursdays April 11 and April 25 from 10 a.m.-noon.

Visit TLC at 210 Ferry Way or call 586-5718 to receive assistance and create a plan. Registration is recommended the first night of evening classes. Daytime classes and labs are open entry.
