Heart of hospice run a success

The Heart of Hospice Fundraising Run/Walk on April 13 was absolutely wonderful and we wish to thank the community of Juneau, businesses and individuals, for their generous support for our programs. The weather was perfect, sunny and crisp, for a delightful way to start the day. We had 86 participants in all and the winners of the Dr. Henry Akiyama Memorial Award were John Nagel with a time of 20:17 and Jane Boer with a time of 22:33. Their names will be placed on our plaque that hangs in the Hospice and Home Care office.
