Femme Fatale fundraiser for Four A's

The Alaskan AIDS Assistance Association (Four A’s) presents “Femme Fatale,” an annual drag show fundraiser.

Thursday, May 2 will be a pay-as-you-can amateur drag competition at 9 p.m. at the Rendezvous. Friday, May 3 will feature Femme Fatale divas visiting Juneau to perform, it will also be at 9 p.m. at the Rendezvous. Saturday will see two shows, at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m., both at the Baranof Hotel. The 7 p.m. show Saturday is open to adults ages 18 and up. The other shows will be open to adults 21 and up.

All money raised during this weekend’s events stays right here in Southeast Alaska and helps support the work of the Four A’s – a non-profit organization that provides support services to Alaskans living with HIV/AIDS and their families, while also working to eliminate the transmission of HIV and its stigma.

Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door, and can be purchased at Hearthside Books. There is a special student ticket price of $15.00 for the 7 p.m. show.

For more information, or if you are interested in performing at the amateur show on Thursday, contact Phoebe Rohrbacher at 586-6089, or go the Four A’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/AlaskanAIDS .
