Juneau Public Library book review winners

Kids coming into any of the three public libraries this summer may enter a weekly drawing for prizes generously donated by local businesses. To enter the drawing, write a book review on forms available at the library. This program is open to all ages through teens. All our Summer Reading Programs are sponsored by the Friends of the Juneau Public Libraries.

Come to the Valley Public Library on June 20 at 5:30 p.m. to enjoy games and dinner with our Third Thursday Family Time series.

Come join us for a TEDx viewing party Wednesday at the downtown Juneau Library. Our theme for the night is communication. All are welcome. Pizza will be provided by the Friends of the Juneau Public Libraries. Tickets and reservations are not required.

All programs free and open to the public.

A big thank you to Bartlett Hospital’s cardiac rehabilitation department

Thank you to the staff and patients of Bartlett’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Department for their donation of baby food. This much-needed donation is critical for providing healthy food to young family members, who are most in need of nutritious food. We should always remember that “healthy choices fight heart disease.” Bartlett’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Department’s special, specific donation reminds us that the health of our children is the first step towards a long and healthy life, and their generosity is overwhelming. This donation will make a difference in the lives of babies and their families in need. Thank you Bartlett’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Department!
