Dear Juneau friends

Dear Juneau friends,

I have not been back to Juneau since one of my bands played at the Baranof Hotel for two weeks on our Florida through Alaska tour in 1974.

I was the first Student Band Director of Juneau-Douglas High School, the band president, the pep band director and the band leader of “The Candid Eight” which toured with Governor Egan for his 1966 campaign for re-election.

I graduated proudly from Junea-Douglas High School in 1966 with two Southeast Alaska Championships and a National Arion Award for Music to treasure for my memories along with countless others.

I wish to publicly thank those of you Sue and I were able to make contact with on our visit here from our home in Sequim, Wash. Your hospitality and warmth hasn’t changed over the decades we’ve been apart.

If we didn’t get to see you here I hope you will make contact with me through my web site

See you in the future.

Much appreciation,

Bob Hagan
