Juneau People for Peace and Justice to suspend meetings until Labor Day

Juneau People for Peace and Justice have suspended their weekly meetings at Northern Light United Church for the rest of the summer. The meetings, held on Mondays from 5:15-6:15 p.m., will resume after Labor Day.

Juneau People for Peace and Justice, founded in 2002, works non-violently for peace, locally and globally.

All are welcome to join the group during their paper crane peace march in this year’s 4th of July parade on Thursday. For more information about marching in the parade, contact Judith Maier, 789-9229.
