Depute wins PEO raffle

Judith Morley, left, displays the queen-size quilt she donated for the PEO quilt raffle, with PEO Chapter G President Judy Knight, right. Connie Depute, not pictured, won the quilt.

As a fundraiser for the Philanthropic Educational Organization, local members organized a quilt raffle, with a hand-made quilt donated by avid quilter and and treasurer of PEO Chapter G Judith Morley. The raffle was one of several events held by Chapter G this summer to benefit scholarships for local women. The members of Chapter G would like to thank all who supported the effort by buying raffle tickets.
