Harborview Hoop-la

The Harborview Hoop Off commencing the Harborview Humanities Program was an energetic success. Many thanks are due to our sponsors and many volunteers who made this event possible. In particular, we would like to thank Dr. Catharine Piemann of Southeast Medical Clinic, Dr. Joy Neyhart of Rainforest Pediatrics, The Home Depot and an anonymous donor for their generous contributions. These donations helped purchase the materials that allowed each child to make a hula hoop. It is our hope that these hula hoops will continue to provide exercise and enjoyment for our students and their families.

We also had many parents and teachers lend a helping hand in hoop construction and in managing all 400 students in the Marie Drake Gymnasium. We look forward to an eventful year.

Thanks again,

Principal Dave Stoltenberg and the Humanities Program Team at Harborview Elementary
