Sons of Norway Holiday Bazaar

The Sons of Norway Holiday Bazaar will be Saturday, Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Juneau Yacht Club, at Aurora Harbor off Egan Drive.

Featured food and beverages will be a variety of Scandinavian baked goods, soup and sandwiches, waffles and strawberries, coffee, tea, cocoa, apple cider and juices.

Handmade arts and crafts will include knitted hats and other items, silk scarves, handspun and hand painted yarn, unique handmade jewelry, handcrafted fashion and accessories, copper flame paintings, fused glass and gemstone jewelry, handmade greeting cards, chef aprons, black lab mutt photography, paintings, prints and ceramics.

Other items of interest will be the Svalbard Lodge cookbook, shells, driftwood and horns, appliquéd Levi jackets, CDs of accordion music and clarinet, and books on Alaska history.

Throughout the day, Dale Wygant will be entertaining everyone with his accordion music and door prizes will be given out at 3 p.m. (need not be present to win). For more information please call Barbara, 790-3038 or Elfrida, 789-6974.
