Judy Croasmun, our College of Regents Chairman, hosted our Chapter Activity Night on Nov. 4 with Saralyn Tabachnick, director of the AWARE Shelter, as our guest speaker for the evening. Following Ms. Tabachnick’s presentation she was presented with a check in the amount of $2,000. These funds had been collected through the sale of autographed pictures of Governor Parnell and First Lady Sandy Parnell and proceeds from the second annual Frugal Fashion Show, which was held recently by Juneau Chapter #439 of the Women of the Moose.

During the evening, Karen Fortwengler was recognized as the newest member of the College of Regents, Lara Brown had her green tassel changed to the red tassel, and Rosa Rice received her Red Stole. All steps in their service to the Women of the Moose.

Carol Pitts and her daughter, Pamela Harper, were presented with their Call Cards for The Academy of Friendship, the first degree you can earn as the Woman of the Moose. They, as well as other local co-workers and members from around the State, will plan to travel to State Conference in Petersburg this coming March to receive this Degree.
