The Widowed Persons Program and Hospice and Home Care are pleased to announce a special public program: Grief, Loss and the Holidays. It will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 20 in the Mendenhall Library Conference Room beginning at 5:15 p.m. This program is free and light refreshments will be served.
Jamie McLean, M. A., L.P.C., will be presenting this program for families and friends who have lost a loved one through death. This program will offer suggestions on how to navigate through the holiday season and learn how to create new traditions that pay tribute to the memory of their loved one.
The Widowed Persons Program provides events, activities, and support for both men and women of all ages who have been widowed. Program social activities include monthly brunches, picnics, dinners and support group meetings.
The Widowed Persons Program and Hospice and Home Care of Juneau wish to extend a special invitation to everyone who has lost a loved one through death to attend this public program.
