The Douglas Community United Methodist Women will be holding its Annual Country Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Douglas Community United Methodist Church located on the corner of Third and E Streets, Douglas.
The bazaar will offer activities and items for the whole family, including collectibles, attic treasures, arts and crafts, homemade baked goods, rada knives and a lunch room featuring chili, corn bread and delicious desserts. There will be a kids activity center with fun, games and prizes for all ages, including a gingerbread house building station.
Bringing a Non-Perishable donation for the Douglas Community United Methodist Food Pantry will earn a $1 Bazaar Coupon.
Proceeds from the bazaar go toward local and statewide mission outreach including: Gastineau Elementary School Breakfast Program, DCUMC Food Pantry, Eagle River United Methodist Camp Southeast, Alaska Children & Families (formerly Alaska Children’s Services), the Nome Community Center and other similar missions institutions within the United States and Internationally.
