Girl Scout troop donates food to Adopt-a-Family program

Girl Scout Troop 4036, who recently donated food to the St. Vincent De Paul Adopt A Family Program.

Members of local Girl Scout Troop 4036, comprised of students who attend Gastineau and Harborview Elementary, the Juneau Community Charter School and home-schooled families, recently donated food to the St. Vincent De Paul Adopt-A-Family Program.

The donated food was part of the Girl Scout’s Care to Share Fall Nut Sale that allowed friends and families to purchase items to be contributed to a local cause. The girls in the troop decided to donate the items to the Adopt-A-Family Program to help families in need during the holiday season.
