Alaskans, it's time to Pick.Click.Give.

As an Alaskan, signing up for one’s Permanent Fund Dividend might be as ubiquitous a New Year’s tradition as making resolutions. And now, more and more Alaskans are making it a tradition to give to organizations they care about through the Pick. Click. Give. program. The total pledges and total number of donors have risen each year the program has been in place, from about $545,000 from 5,173 donors in 2009 to $2,200,000 from 23,169 donors in 2012.

Donors can make decisions about where to give by searching by location or cause type. The following are organizations in Southeast Alaska, with offices or presence in Juneau unless otherwise indicated, signed up to be recipients of Pick.Click.Give when Alaskans fill out their Permanent Fund Dividend application online at When you go online to apply for your dividend, you will see the Pick.Click.Give. option. Click and follow the instructions to make your donation. You may give all or part of your dividend, whatever is appropriate for you and your family. If you have already filled out your PFD application and forgot to Pick.Click.Give., worry not — you can add or change donations from the PFD website.
