Youth Alliance for a Healthier Alaska Seeking Members

The 2014-2015 Youth Alliance for a Healthier Alaska (YAHA) recruitment will close at 5 p.m. on June 13. YAHA is a group of youth from across Alaska that advises the state’s Adolescent Health Program in the Division of Public Health.

YAHA members attend a monthly teleconference, participate in an in-person meeting in Anchorage, and have the opportunity to give youth voice to youth-serving programs. They receive a $10 gift card for each hour of active participation in meetings and learn about public health in Alaska. Applicants can submit their applications via fax, scanned into email or mailed.

For more information, visit http://dhss.alaska.gov/dph/wcfh/Pages/adolescent/yaha.aspx or contact Jennifer Baker at 269-4517 or jennifer.baker@alaska.gov.
