Local students graduate from Oregon State University

Oregon State University will hold its 145th commencement at 10:30 a.m. on June 14, beginning in Reser Stadium.

The commencement speaker is Ann A. Kiessling, director of the independent Bedford Stem Cell Research Foundation and a leader in both stem cell research and reproductive biology. She also will receive an honorary doctorate from the university.

Local students graduating this June from Oregon State include:

Auke Bay: Michelle E. Fournet, Master of Science, Marine Resource Management.

Juneau: Evan C. Anderson, Honors Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, English; Leif L. Brantner, Bachelor of Science, Forest Operations Management; Brittany C. Donahue, Bachelor of Science, Cum Laude, Business Information Systems, Bachelor of Science, Cum Laude, Accountancy; John H. Eiler, Doctor of Philosophy, Fisheries Science.
