10 things SE Alaskans think when they see the sun

1. Darn. Now I can’t finish the last episode of Orange is the New Black.

2. Ugh. It will never last.

3. My eyes! It burns!

4. ... but I kind of like it.

5. To sunscreen, or not to suncreen ...

6. I better mow down the jungle in the front yard.

7. Nevermind about the jungle — I’m going on a hike.

8. Time to take the dog to the beach, go for a long walk, beach comb, hike a mountain, meet friends for beers, pick berries, go fishing, have a bonfire, maybe one more beer and maybe a little frisbee golf.

9. Flip flops.

10. Dang. Should’ve worn that sunscreen.
