Sylvia K. Gallant and David Clausen were wed May 4, 2016, at Glacier Valley Church of God in Juneau during a small ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Walter Bennett Sr. and Ella Bennett of Juneau. The groom is the son of Ronald A. Clausen of Texas (deceased) and Jan Clausen of New Zealand.
The bride formerly worked for both Pavitts Health and Fitness Center and the Alaska Club where she met the groom. He proposed to her in front of the Mendenhall Glacier in 2015.
Associate Pastor Jerry Bennett officiated the wedding.
The couple will make their home in Juneau.
