Teachers, students celebrate arts

During National Arts In Education Week, Sept. 10-16, 2017, Any Given Child Juneau invited every classroom teacher in the Juneau School District to celebrate the arts with their students, from kindergarteners to high school seniors. Three teachers who participated won a field trip bus voucher donated by First Student bus company through a drawing.

 

Winners are:

• Elizabeth Hauser, Harborview kindergarten teacher

• Tisa Becker, Riverbend fourth grade teacher

• Elizabeth Pisel-Davis, Riverbend fourth grade teacher

All participating teachers will receive a coffee card thank you gift: Kayla Harmon, Jennifer Thompson, Susan Nachtigal, Michaela Moore, Summer Koester, Heather Ridgway, Gary Lehnhart, Semra Deaner, Carley Lehnhart, Erica Scales and Electra Gardinier.
