TMHS boys take Knights with 20 free throws

Thunder Mountain High School boys basketball took the first of two games against visiting Colony Friday, shooting 20-26 from the line to ice the Knights 60-51.

Noah Reishus-O’Brien (21 points) led TMHS to their fifth victory on the season with four field goals, a 3-pointer and a 9-10 performance from the line.

The Falcons led at the close of every quarter, outscoring the Knights in every period but the third. Senior Chase Saviers followed Reishus-O’Brien in the scoring column with 19 points on five field goals, a 3-pointer and a 6-6 tally from the line.

The Falcons’ 20-26 mark on foul shots was the difference in the match as Colony, only 18-30 from the line, missed a dozen free throws on the night.
