How about...

Call them up and pretend to be Sean Parnell. Tell them you want to pass legislation benefiting Alaskans instead of oil companies for a change.

Then count the seconds before they start laughing once they get the joke.

Cute, but too wordy

I love the original ideas in the editorial cartoon, but it is far too wordy to be a great one.
