Vox Box response: What should be built in the Willoughby District?

Being at one time in Juneau’s history as the Indian Village of Juneau, AK. I would like to see a Juneau Tlingit cultural center only focused on sharing Juneau’s Tlingit history in Juneau, Auk Bay, and Douglas areas. Where a museum display of Juneau Tlingit documents and art can be seen. Juneau’s indigenous plants and their medicinal and nutrition uses as well as animals used by the Juneau Tlingit of the Juneau and Douglas areas are shown; A cultural center for Juneau Tlingit way of life in this area. Where Tlingit workshops take place acting as one piece of revenue where instructors teach art lessons, Tlingit history, and Tlingit language while adding an after-school program for Native and Non Native high school students, a place to go after school hours and learn about Alaska Native Culture.
