Bill Peters for Assembly

I stand with Bill Peters for Assembly. I encourage my fellow Juneauites to vote for Bill this election for his character, vision and proven commitment to our community. I know him to be a hardworking, civic-centric individual of impeccable ethical standards. I worked alongside Mr. Peters on the Board of the Shrine of Therese and was impressed with the leadership he provided to this non-profit organization. Specifically, his technical guidance regarding financial matters pertaining to several capital improvement projects at the Shrine was testament to his leadership potential. It was refreshing and inspirational to work with a professional who understands the meaning of collaboration.

His experience working at a local credit union as vice president of corporate development will bring business and financial acumen to the Assembly from the much needed perspective of the private sector. Bill recognizes that for the Borough to thrive we must grow job opportunities while still maintaining the public center of government. He recognizes affordable housing as a CBJ priority and that infrastructure investment, such a supplemental water source, are key to ensuring a vibrant municipality.

Bill has the talents, skills and abilities to serve the Juneau public and I will be pleased to cast my ballot on October 1st.
