Gardeners' association to present 'Growing Great Greens' Dec. 14

The Southeast Master Gardener’s Association will present the first in their winter series of Second Wednesday Brown Bag presentations on Dec. 14, “Growing Great Greens.”

The presentation will include discussion about which species thrive in Southeast Alaska, and how to lower inputs by increasing yield per area, as well as more general information about the types of greens and their nutritional value.

“Growing Great Greens” will run from 12:05 to 12:55 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14 in the Hickel Room at Centennial Hall.

Future brown bag presentations will be held on the following dates: Jan. 11, Feb. 15, March 14 and April 11.
