Juneau’s local fly fishing club, the Raincountry Flyfishers, will meet for the first time in the 2012 season at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18 in the Thunder Mountain High School library.
Steve and Luke Brockman will present a slide show on their recent fly fishing trip to Western Alaska. Non-members are always welcome.
The club will meet on the first and third Wednesdays of each month until June at TMHS. The Feb. 1 meeting will include Alan Doty’s slide show on fishing trips to the Deschutes River in Central Oregon for the salmonfly hatch and the Alaskan Haul Road.
