First-ever Town Downhill sends city-wide invite

In its first year, the Town Downhill community race invites alpine skiers and snowboarders to compete on the slopes of Eaglecrest Ski Area on Saturday.

This year’s event, which is supported by the Juneau Ski Club, will be a timed race. Skiers or boarders must fill out a registration form, which can be picked up in the Juneau Ski Club room on the first level of the lodge at Eaglecrest. Entry fees of $15 will be collected the day of the event and bibs are issued at the time of registration. Prizes will be awarded. All are welcome to compete.
