The City Museum’s Coffee and Collections Series continues this month with Photographing Juneau by John Hyde at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 10.
With a background in environmental science and visual arts and over 30 years of experience in still and motion picture photography, Hyde uses photography to explore the natural world around him. During his presentation Hyde will discuss what he tries to accomplish with his photography and why he finds Juneau such an inspiring location to live and work.
In addition to his presentation, visitors can also view Mendenhall Glacier and Juneau Ice Field photos by Hyde, which are currently on display at the City Museum.
Coffee for the Coffee and Collections Series is provided by Heritage Coffee Company.
