Samia Savell to present at 'Greenhouses and High Tunnels'

The public is invited to attend Greenhouses and High Tunnels with an appearance from Samia Savell, of the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, from 12:05 p.m. to 12:55 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11 at the Juneau Arts and Culture Center.

At this event, attendees will have an opportunity to see what's possible in gardening and to ask questions.

Buckwheat Classic registration opens

Registration is now open for the 31st annual Buckwheat Ski Classic. The cross-country ski race will be held on March 25 on the Log Cabin Ski Trails north of Skagway and include 50K, 25K and 10K classic races as well as a 5K kids race.
