Tongass offers campground host opportunity at Mendenhall Lake Campground

The U.S. Forest Service is now hiring for camp hosts at the Mendenhall Lake Campground, on the Tongass National Forest in Juneau for the upcoming summer season.

In a notice from the USFS, the agency stated being an host at a campground is β€œan opportunity to work outdoors, meet campers, enjoy nature, and volunteer in a great setting!”

The position provides a campsite with full service for living quarters, plus a cost-of-living stipend. Hosts from outside Juneau are provided an additional travel stipend.
