The U.S. Forest Service is now hiring for camp hosts at the Mendenhall Lake Campground, on the Tongass National Forest in Juneau for the upcoming summer season.
In a notice from the USFS, the agency stated being an host at a campground is “an opportunity to work outdoors, meet campers, enjoy nature, and volunteer in a great setting!”
The position provides a campsite with full service for living quarters, plus a cost-of-living stipend. Hosts from outside Juneau are provided an additional travel stipend.
