Division of Agriculture offers 'Chef at the Market' grants

ANCHORAGE — The Alaska Division of Agriculture is offering grants to chefs interested in highlighting Alaska Grown products at farmers markets throughout Alaska.

The funding is available through the division’s “Chef at the Market” program, which has two primary focuses: drawing more customers to the markets and teaching Alaskans new ways to cook and prepare Alaska Grown vegetables.

Proposals are due to the division by 5 p.m. on Monday, April 30. To find out more, go to www.dnr.alaska.gov/ag and click on the “Grants” tab under the “Programs” header.
