Second chance for this year's Super Plant Sale

The annual Super Plant Sale, held each year on the day before Mother’s Day, will be extended this year due to the rain-induced low turnout, Ed Buyarski, a local master gardener, said.

He said the second day of this year’s plant sale will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, May 20. The sale will be hosted at the Juneau Community Garden, off of Montana Creek Road, and will feature vegetable starters, seed potatoes, herbs, flowers, trees and shrubs sold by multiple local nonprofits.

Commercial businesses are also included in the sale, providing items such as topsoil and fruit trees from Buyarski’s Ed’s Edible Landscaping.
