As of Wednesday there were still 38 tickets left for this year’s Juneau Symphony Wildlife Cruise which runs from 1:30-5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1.
The annual fundraiser this year will feature various musicians, complimentary wine tasting, hors d’oeuvres and wildlife sightseeing. Passengers aboard the Allen Marine catamaran will hear symphony chamber musicians perform throughout the three-hour cruise. This year’s musicians will be Lisa Ibias, Allen Engstrom, Gou Hua Xia, Tyree Pini, Franz Felkl and Kyle Pickett.
The catamaran begins boarding at 1:30 p.m. at the Don Statter Public Boat Harbor in Auke Bay. The cruise will sail promptly at 2 p.m. and return at 5 p.m.
Tickets are on sale now through Friday, Aug. 31 at Hearthside Books and the Juneau Arts and Culture Center box office. If the cruise is not sold out, additional tickets will be available at the Don Statter Public Boat Dock from 1-2 p.m. on Sept. 1.
Ticket are $60 each and all proceeds go toward the Juneau Symphony. Ticket prices will not increase on the day of the event.
