Historical photo: Halibut men

Three men work to process halibut in the early 1900s at the Juneau Cold Storage plant. During this time, most fishermen worked their lines for halibut from open dories off the outer coast in the Gulf of Alaska. They would offload their catch onto larger vessels for transport.
