Ski Sale scheduled for Nov. 3

This year’s Ski Sale, an annual fundraiser for the Juneau Ski Club and the Ski Patrol, will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3 at Centennial Hall.

Admission is $2 per person (12 and under are free) and locals will find deals on both used and new winter outdoor equipment, clothing and supplies.

This year, door prizes include three season passes to Eaglecrest Ski Area, donated by Eaglecrest and the Juneau Central Labor Council.

For those interested in selling items, check-in runs from 4:30-8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1, 4:30-8:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, and 7:30-9:30 a.m. the day of the sale. Minimum price per item is $5. Any item deemed too old or unsafe will not be accepted. No straight skis allowed.

Typically, the event can get quite crowded, so attendees are encouraged to show up early for the best selection.

Cash and check only will be accepted.

Unsold items must be picked up from 4-5 p.m. the day of the sale.
