NPS hosting open house to highlight 100th Anniversary

The National Park Service will host a free public open house from 4-6 p.m. in the Hammond Room at Centennial Hall on Tuesday, Dec. 4.

Discussion will also include how the service can prepare for a new century of stewardship and engagement, and current operations and issues in Alaska’s national parks.

The NPS marks its 100th anniversary in 2016. Information on the national work plan, titled “Call to Action,” is available at http://www.nps.gov/calltoaction.
