ORCA to host volunteer night at the Rookery

Outdoor Recreation and Community Access Adaptive Ski and Snowboard Program, commonly known as ORCA, will be holding a Volunteer Info Night at 5 p.m. tonight at the Rookery, in downtown Juneau.

The ORCA program provides adaptive ski and snowboard lessons to people experiencing disabilities and is in need of community volunteers to assist and instruct participants on the mountain.

Community members are invited to attend the event, sign up to volunteer, or just meet the members and learn more about the program. A drawing will be held for free lift tickets to Eaglecrest Ski Area.
