Wine tasting, auction aims to raise money for '2nd Chance Fund'

The public is invited to a Wine Tasting & Silent Auction Benefit for the Gastineau Humane Society from 5-7 p.m. tonight at the Old Elks Hall, 117 S. Franklin.

Funds raised at the event will go toward the GHS’s “2nd Chance Fund,” which aims to support the society’s choice to be a “no kill” animal shelter.

The event will feature light appetizers and a silent auction. Tickets are $35 per person or one $15 ticket with the purchase of any level Gastineau Humane Society membership. Tickets are available at GHS, from board members and at the door.
After the event Rockwell’s will have a special menu and donate a percentage of all sales to GHS.
