Adaptive Ski and Snowboard Awareness Day this weekend

Community members of all abilities are invited to explore adaptive skiing and snowboarding as part of the annual Adaptive Ski and Snowboard Awareness Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 20 awt Eaglecrest Ski Area.

Participants will enjoy free lessons and demonstrations with adaptive ski equipment, they will learn how to participate or volunteer for adaptive snow sports or they can just try out a new way to slide on snow.

Adaptive Ski and Snowboard Awareness Day is organized by Eaglecrest and ORCA. Both entities work to offer daily adaptive ski, snowboard, and nordic lessons to people with disabilities.
