The public is invited to another presentation in this year’s Fireside Lecture series titled “A Sea of Otters,” with guest speaker and expert James Bodkin.
Bodkin, from Anchorage, is a retired research wildlife biologist with the U.S. Geologic Survey. He will present the latest scientific data on these important, and sometimes controversial, mammals.
The U.S. Forest Service-sponsored lectures begin at 6:30 p.m. and repeat at 8 p.m. at the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center.
As always, the event is free and open to the public.
