A cabin and warming shelter built by local volunteers to memorialize the late John Caouette will be dedicated at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 9 at Twin Lakes.
The announcement, which was posted on the cabin’s Facebook page this week, invites the public to join in the celebration of the completion of the public-use shelter that has been under construction since last fall. There will be music, light refreshments, brief tributes and much gratitude.
After the dedication, a party will be held at 7 p.m. at Rockwell, to honor “all who have contributed time, money, expertise, coffee, hot soups, purple buses, photographs and good will to the project.”
